What they're looking for

  • Represent Stripe on trade groups, coalitions, and industry bodies engaged on federal policy issues
  • At least 10+ years of experience in a policymaking, government, or senior: advocacy role — ideally a mix of time on Capitol Hill, in a federal regulatory agency, or in a world-class organization as an in-house government relations expert or other business-related role
  • A background working for a Member of Congress, a committee or leadership: office, or in a senior policy role at the US Treasury, OCC, FDIC, White House, or comparable federal institution — with a track record of navigating bipartisan legislative environments
  • Deep expertise in financial services regulation and payments policy, with a: strong understanding of the legislative and regulatory landscape across banking, money transmission, and digital assets
