What you'll do

• Safely operate forklifts and other material handling equipment to transport: grocery products throughout the warehouse, including loading and unloading trucks, moving pallets, and stacking products in designated storage areas.

• Assist with inventory counts and cycle counts as needed, ensuring accurate: tracking and recording of product movements within the warehouse.

• Collaborate with warehouse team members to fulfill customer orders by: accurately picking and staging products for shipment, following established procedures and safety guidelines.

• Adhere to all company safety protocols and guidelines for forklift operation,: including conducting pre-operational checks, wearing appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE), and reporting any safety hazards or incidents to management.

• Perform routine maintenance checks on forklifts and other equipment to ensure: proper functioning and report any maintenance or repair needs to maintenance personnel.

• Communicate effectively with warehouse supervisors and team members to: coordinate workflow, prioritize tasks, and address any issues or concerns related to forklift operations.

• Diligently adheres to all established facility food safety rules, personal: hygiene standards, and Good Distribution Practices (GDP) expectations daily.
• Promptly escalates food safety hazards and takes immediate action to halt: production lines if product integrity is compromised or suspected of being compromised.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Ability to pass internal forklift operator certification.
