What you'll do

  • Receive problem statements guidelines, requirements, and reporting milestones

  • Independently perform trade studies, designs, and generate solutions for approval

  • Execute the procurement of hardware as necessary to implement solutions

  • Test, verify, and demonstrate the effectiveness of your solutions

  • Must be pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering,: Aerospace Engineering, or a related field.

  • Must be returning to school at the end of the internship to continue academic: studies for at least one quarter or semester.

What they're looking for

  • Must be a U.S. Person due to required access to U.S. export-controlled: information or facilities; U.S. clearance eligibility may be required depending on program.
  • Ability to complete an in-person 16-24 -week internship in one of our offices in summer 2027.
  • Previous experience leading project and working with data collection, analysis, and driving improvements.
  • Hands-on experience with R/C and/or autonomous flight vehicles, flight: controllers, or other related control systems
