What you'll do
Electrical System Support: Assist electricians with diagnosing, repairing, assembling, and installing diverse electrical components and systems.
Blueprint Interpretation: Interpret electrical blueprints and schematics to understand project requirements.
Tool Utilization: Utilize a variety of tools and techniques to complete electrical tasks effectively.
Parts Management: Order electrical parts, maintain accurate work logs, and collaborate with other service workers on large projects.
Troubleshooting & Repair: Help identify defects, troubleshoot malfunctions, repair equipment, and replace defective parts.
Collaboration & Teamwork: Work closely with electricians and other team members to identify and solve problems.
What they're looking for
- Continuous Learning: Actively seek opportunities to learn new skills and expand your electrical knowledge.
- Education: High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Electrical Apprenticeship Program Enrollment: Currently enrolled in an Electrical Apprenticeship program.
- Electrical Familiarity: Basic understanding of electrical work and terminology.
