The opportunity
The Music Mission team owns Spotify’s end to end proposition for music creators and the experiences they create for fans. The team is dedicated to building tools and services to enable creation, promotion, expression, and monetization at scale.
What you'll do
Be a primary Spotify partner for artists, labels, and other music partners: across Morocco, Algeria, and Tunisia, building relationships that support artist development and long-term growth
Develop and execute a holistic music strategy for the Maghreb that aligns: with regional business goals and reflects the momentum of the region’s evolving music scene
Build impactful artist partnerships and lead creative, cross-functional: initiatives that strengthen artist-to-fan engagement both on and off Spotify
Identify emerging artists, music trends, audience behaviors, and cultural: movements across the Maghreb, bringing actionable insights to the MENAT+ team, global counterparts, and partners across Editorial, Artist Marketing, Consumer Marketing, Licensing, and other teams
Support and educate artists, labels, and their teams on Spotify tools,: resources, and insights, helping partners get more value from the platform
Work closely with regional Editorial teams and Genre Groups on priority: releases and content opportunities, while representing Artist & Label Partnerships in high-impact regional and global projects
What they're looking for
- You have 7+ years of experience in artist and label partnerships within a: digital music service, record label, media, technology, or related music industry organization
- You have a deep understanding of the music ecosystem across Morocco, Algeria,: and Tunisia, with established relationships across artist and label communities
- You understand Spotify’s role in the music industry and can combine strong: cultural judgment with data and audience insights to inform strategy and tell compelling stories
- You stay close to emerging music and audience movements across the Maghreb,: from Moroccan pop, rap, and chaabi to Algerian raï, Tunisian alternative scenes, and the sounds shaping what comes next
- You’re a confident communicator and storyteller who can present to senior: stakeholders, advocate for the market, negotiate effectively, and build alignment across different teams and perspectives
- You’re comfortable owning complex projects in a fast-changing environment,: balancing strategic priorities with hands-on execution and bringing strong organization and attention to detail
- You have experience working across regional and global teams and can navigate: global-to-local structures while keeping partners and cross-functional teams aligned
- You’re fluent in English and French. Arabic, including Darija and/or other: Maghreb dialects, is strongly valued, as are additional languages relevant to the region
