The opportunity
About the Role The TM – Associate Manager, Operations is responsible for leading the day-to-day execution and performance of the account. This role ensures transportation solutions for the account are accurately maintained and operate efficiently through consistent adherence to standard work processes.
What you'll do
Proactively identify, communicate, and resolve issues related to process,: cost, service, and profitability, while implementing continuous improvement initiatives
Lead conflict resolution and complex problem-solving efforts
Train, coach, and develop direct reports through regular 1:1s, performance: reviews, mentoring, and ongoing feedback
Monitor team performance and hold the team accountable for key job responsibilities and service expectations
Develop and distribute customer-facing reports and internal performance management reporting
Maintain and update the Transportation Management System (TMS), including: rates, SRG, OCA, FAM, SPT, and related configurations
What they're looking for
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders and: external partners through professional and timely communication
- Leverage expertise in transportation modes, rates, weights, volumes, pallets,: and customer-specific shipping requirements
- High school diploma or GED required
- –5+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, supply chain,: warehousing, or a related operations environment
