Own the full software lifecycle, including production monitoring, incident: resolution, and continuous performance optimization.
Contribute actively to technical documentation, RFCs, and product discovery,: ensuring codebase quality and clarity.
Partner with cross-functional teams to define backlog priorities and identify: opportunities for process and workflow improvements.
Support team growth by onboarding new engineers, conducting thorough code: reviews, and fostering a culture of knowledge sharing.
Operate with professional autonomy, delivering complex tasks while maintaining high engineering standards.
What they're looking for
- Proven experience in backend engineering, with deep proficiency in Java or: Kotlin and modern microservice patterns.
- Strong understanding of relational and NoSQL databases (Postgres preferred): and cloud-native infrastructure, specifically AWS.
- Demonstrated ability to handle the entire deployment process, including bug fixing and production monitoring.
- Independent Execution: Capacity to solve complex problems independently and take ownership of technical outcomes.
