What you'll do
Design and reason about integration experiences with a strong focus on: end-user simplicity and developer experience
Build back-end services and integrations across solutions across Stripe’s payments product
Engage and interact with external partners to determine and build technical solutions
Engage directly with users to understand their business needs and translate: requirements into concrete solutions
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including product, partnerships, eng: platforms, and other engineering teams to deliver these solutions
Contribute to software platforms used across payments at Stripe
What they're looking for
- + years of backend engineering experience
- Strong command of verbal and written English language
- Experience working across geographies
- Experience building extensible, leveraged software solutions that scale to: different kinds of user needs, with the ability to empathize with users and advocate for exceptional user experiences
- Previous experiences working in payments and on payments technology
- Previous experience using Stripe products
