What you'll do
Design, build, and operate systems that support critical rocket launches and testing
Perform thermofluid analysis and other design tasks associated with gaseous: and liquid (including cryogenic liquid) fluid systems
Manage the fabrication and installation of fluid systems and other: construction projects occurring at the launch and test sites
Help SpaceX develop state-of-the-art technologies for all aspects of the: production of cryogenic rocket propellants (oxygen and methane)
Design, build, and commission air separation, liquefaction, liquified natural: gas production, and other cryogenic process equipment
Perform balance of plant calculations for cryogenic systems
What they're looking for
- Manage interdisciplinary engineering projects from concept through design, build, and activation
- Work closely with operational teams, cooperating to ensure system design is: well-understood and easy to operate long-term
- Bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or aerospace engineering
- + years of hands-on experience working with fluid systems in a professional setting (internships qualify)
