What you'll do
Interprets blueprints, drawings, and engineering information to determine: machining methods, sequences, dimensions, and tolerances for precision parts
Sets up multi-axis CNC lathes and mills to precise tolerances and machines: fixtures, tools, and components to drawing specifications with limited supervision
Programs and operates multiple CNC machines and processes concurrently to: meet production schedules and quality targets
Measures, inspects, and tests completed parts using precision instruments to: detect defects and confirm conformance to specifications
Supports metalworking projects from planning and fabrication through assembly, inspection, and testing
Cleans and maintains machines, tools, and cutting equipment to sustain reliable production
What they're looking for
- High school diploma or equivalency certificate
- + years of experience on multi-axis lathes and mills or other CNC machines
- + years of CNC programming experience
- Experience operating drill presses, grinders, and related metalworking equipment
