What you'll do
Lead execution of mergers and acquisitions and strategic investments,: including sourcing, financial analysis, due diligence coordination, and integration planning in partnership with senior team members
Conduct market research and synthesize findings into strategic: recommendations that shape company and product direction
Develop competitive intelligence on key players, analyzing relative strengths: and weaknesses and translating insights into actionable implications for Coinbase
Partner with senior team members to cultivate cross-functional relationships: with executives and drive high-priority strategic initiatives
Build and maintain relationships with startups, investors, and industry: participants to surface new opportunities and stay ahead of market developments
Strengthen Corporate Development team operations by enhancing existing: processes and contributing to recruiting and developing new team members
What they're looking for
- years of experience in investment banking, top tier management consulting,: corporate development, strategic finance, private equity, or venture capital
- Proven track record of leading M&A or strategic investment transactions: end-to-end, including financial modeling, due diligence, and deal structuring
- Demonstrated ability to synthesize complex market data into clear strategic: recommendations for senior stakeholders
- BA/BS degree with deep intellectual curiosity for crypto, blockchain technology, and digital assets
