The opportunity

The Adoption, Innovation, and Transformation team within OpenAI for Government helps government organizations turn OpenAI products into durable capabilities and measurable mission impact. This role requires the rare blend of: Evangelist, Educator, Executor, Ambassador, and Orchestrator.

What you'll do

  • Set the vision and own the execution of Daybreak’s government enablement: strategy, from audience research and learning objectives to curricula, delivery, and measurable mission impact.

  • Serve as a trusted cyber ambassador for OpenAI, leading substantive: conversations and exploration of our tools and capabilities with U.S. and international government leaders, customers, and the broader cyber community.

  • Shape the narratives that help governments act on AI’s changing cyber: landscape, grounding executive briefings, public speaking, and thought leadership in real operational experience.

  • Personally lead technical training, live demonstrations, hands-on workshops,: and executive conversations that move AOs, CISOs, cyber operators, developers, and senior leaders from interest to action.

  • Bring frontline experience into product development. Serve as a key point of: contact for Daybreak Blue and Red, translating user feedback, deployment friction, and unmet mission needs into actionable product recommendations.

  • Create learning that people can put to work: write scripts, record compelling demos and training, and build interactive labs, digital courses, videos, facilitator guides, and practical playbooks.

  • Convene and lead our cyber councils, bringing leaders and practitioners into: candid conversations that surface hard questions, share field lessons, and build a community of practice.
  • Design for both depth and scale, delivering bespoke engagements for small: specialist teams and repeatable learning programs that equip thousands of practitioners to use Daybreak effectively.
  • Turn frontier capabilities into practical government workflows across the: cybersecurity lifecycle, connecting Daybreak’s applications and deployment requirements to challenges such as critical infrastructure security and defense of critical networks.
  • Help define effective human-machine teaming in cyber, developing practical: guidance on where AI adds value, where human judgment is essential, and how teams validate results and act responsibly.
