What you'll do
Advise teams on privacy laws, with a particular emphasis on financial privacy
Take the lead in maintaining Chime’s privacy program to ensure it meets evolving regulatory expectations
Work cross-functionally to develop and help manage privacy impact assessments: and ensure that privacy by design is embedded in everything Chime does
Work collaboratively with product counsel to advise on privacy aspects of product design
Develop and conduct both general and role-specific privacy trainings
Support Chime’s security team, including by supporting scenario planning: exercises and advising on reportability of incidents to the extent they arise
What they're looking for
- Stay abreast of regulatory and industry trends in privacy and security laws,: including new regimes and requirements that may become applicable as the business evolves, and work with cross functional partners to implement necessary changes
- Help maintain and update privacy and security policies and notices
- + years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in-house, with an: emphasis on helping build or maintain privacy and security programs
- Interest in, and experience advising on, AI enablement and governance
