What you'll do

  • Advise teams on privacy laws, with a particular emphasis on financial privacy

  • Take the lead in maintaining Chime’s privacy program to ensure it meets evolving regulatory expectations

  • Work cross-functionally to develop and help manage privacy impact assessments: and ensure that privacy by design is embedded in everything Chime does

  • Work collaboratively with product counsel to advise on privacy aspects of product design

  • Develop and conduct both general and role-specific privacy trainings

  • Support Chime’s security team, including by supporting scenario planning: exercises and advising on reportability of incidents to the extent they arise

What they're looking for

  • Stay abreast of regulatory and industry trends in privacy and security laws,: including new regimes and requirements that may become applicable as the business evolves, and work with cross functional partners to implement necessary changes
  • Help maintain and update privacy and security policies and notices
  • + years of relevant experience, including at least 3 years in-house, with an: emphasis on helping build or maintain privacy and security programs
  • Interest in, and experience advising on, AI enablement and governance
