What you'll do

• Define and document electrical system-level requirements, decomposition, and: traceability for multiple product lines throughout the development lifecycle.

• Define, architect, test and integrate modules and subsystems into full: vehicle systems including hardware selection

• Conduct root cause analysis in support of vehicle integration and field operations

• Conduct integration and developmental testing of complex electrical subsystems/interactions.

• Participate in design reviews and provide input to identify issues and drive design choices

• Create test systems to support all phases of product development

What they're looking for

• Collaborate with cross-functional hardware and software teams to establish interfaces.
• Create and maintain system design documentation, including functional block: diagrams, sequence diagrams, state diagrams, interface control documents, and wiring diagrams.
• Develop communication architectures for CAN, ethernet, and serial based electrical devices
• Plan and document power and signal interconnections between system components: through definition of block diagrams and harness schematic drawings that connect electrical equipment within the vehicle
