What you'll do
Lead and grow a team of postgres engineers, supporting their development: through mentorship, feedback, and clear technical guidance.
Drive execution on key product initiatives from ideation through launch,: balancing speed with high standards of reliability and quality.
Partner closely with Product, Design, and Infra teams to translate customer: needs into thoughtful technical solutions and product roadmaps.
Engage deeply in technical discussions, guiding system design decisions and: helping the team navigate architectural tradeoffs.
Foster a culture of ownership, accountability, and continuous improvement: across engineering practices and team processes.
Help the team break down complex problems into incremental milestones that: deliver value quickly while supporting long-term platform evolution.
What they're looking for
- + years as an Engineer shipping products and/or features that have downstream: impact on the business and product ecosystem. Ideally, experience with building stateful services.
- + years of experience managing people and developing engineers, including: hiring, mentorship, and performance management.
- Strong technical background with the ability to engage deeply in system: design, architecture, and engineering tradeoffs.
- Product-oriented mindset with experience translating business goals and user: needs into engineering roadmaps and shipped features.
- Ability to balance urgency with thoughtful execution, helping teams ship: quickly while maintaining high quality.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work: effectively across engineering, product, and design.
- A strong sense of ownership and accountability for both team outcomes and long-term system health.
