The opportunity

We are seeking an experienced Engineering Manager to lead our Cloud Foundations team within Platform Engineering domain, Runtime Platform segment.

What you'll do

  • Drive Platform Vision and Strategy: Define and execute the long-term roadmap for the Cloud Foundations segment, shifting fundamental cloud capabilities into self-service, developer-friendly products.

  • Empower Engineering Teams: Enable development teams to autonomously provision infrastructure, manage secrets and deploy workloads securely through well-defined APIs, robust tooling, and automated guardrails.

  • Own Core Cloud Foundations: Oversee a critical portfolio of core platform capabilities, including AWS cloud management (Account Vending Machine, Access Management, Organisation level setup & Cloud Baseline), Infrastructure as Code frameworks (Terraform) and Privileged Access Platform.

  • Lead and Scale People: Build, coach, and retain a high-performing team of engineers specializing in cloud architecture, infrastructure, and platform engineering, promoting a culture of technical excellence, continuous learning, and shared ownership.

  • Evolve Operational Maturity: Elevate engineering practices around automation, observability, resiliency, and secure-by-default architecture, balancing rapid developer velocity with strict availability and security requirements.

  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Act as a strategic liaison between Engineering, Product, Security and other stakeholders to align priorities, manage dependencies and advocate for platform adoption across the business.

What they're looking for

  • Proven experience leading high-impact platform, cloud infrastructure, SRE or: DevOps teams in a complex, scale-up or enterprise environment.
  • Deep experience in AWS cloud architecture, automated multi-account management: frameworks and cloud networking baselines.
  • Proven track record of transforming foundational cloud infrastructure into: product-led, self-service platform solutions that enhance developer experience.
  • Platform Engineering Principles: Solid grasp of self-service platform design, observability, automation and secure-by-default architecture.
