What you'll do
Optimize site-wide soft-services operations, including fleet, workplace: services, and space planning, to improve service levels and cost
Analyze site-services contracts (custodial, landscaping, transportation,: waste, and similar) for cost, performance, and scope; build a roadmap to improve vendor performance
Own the site plan for infrastructure consumables and critical spares to: protect equipment availability and accelerate urgent projects
Own site-level utility forecasting and help structure contract terms that: keep up with rapid facility expansion
Standardize and integrate the site-wide Building Management System (BMS) and: SCADA platforms; use the data to implement predictive and preventative maintenance strategies on critical infrastructure
Lead departmental continuous-improvement work, including new process rollouts and standardization
What they're looking for
- Work across all levels of the business to map current workflows, find gaps, and put durable solutions in place
- Define department-level metrics and dashboards that quantify Facilities: operations health, reliability, and efficiency
- Align with maintenance and construction teams at other SpaceX sites to set uniform, high standards
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering discipline
