What you'll do
Build end-to-end data integrations that sync customer data to and from Scale's platform
Work with customers' engineering teams to optimize data pipelines, including: input on API endpoint design and input/output schemas
Design and maintain playbooks, internal tools, documentation, and SDKs that: set customers up for long-term success
Partner with engineers and Operations to resolve technical blockers, debug: delivery issues, and own technical escalations from customers
Own the customer's technical experience throughout their time with Scale
Work with Account Executives and Product Managers to identify customer-specific feature requests
What they're looking for
- Experience as a customer-facing engineer or in a similar hybrid role
- Hands-on technical experience working with clients in a pre: or post-sales capacity
- Development experience with Python, JavaScript, or other modern languages
- A strong engineering background, ideally in computer science, mathematics, or another quantitative field
- Strong project management and interpersonal skills
- The ability to present credibly to both executives and front-line engineers
- Comfort communicating across internal and external teams
- Intellectual curiosity, empathy, and the ability to move quickly
