What they're looking for

  • Expertise in Python.
  • A strong background in backend development, with comfort working across the stack where the work needs it.
  • Experience with common software and system design patterns and: infrastructure, including APIs, cloud infrastructure tools, storage solutions and data structures.
  • Strong test design and security fundamentals.
  • Care and attention to detail when changing live, business-critical systems,: and the ability to learn a large existing codebase quickly.
  • Comfort with ambiguity: working out what should be built, and prioritising among competing signals.
  • Experience with authentication, authorization or permissioning (OAuth, SSO/SCIM, RBAC or similar).
  • Experience with Kubernetes.
