What you'll do
Supervises the operations of heavy equipment or specialized function; plans,: lays out, assigns, and supervises the work of operators, truck drivers, general maintenance workers and laborers.
Plans and schedules all shop maintenance requests.
Determines priorities, personnel, and equipment and materials and supplies: and ensure compliance with safety program.
Assists and trains less experienced operators and maintains performance and operation records.
Ensures that all applicable Environmental Protection Agency guidelines are met.
Inspects work performed by equipment operations workers to ensure compliance with established standards.
