Our team helps OpenAI advance data center development by connecting communications, permitting and community engagement. We work across the teams building these projects to bring community expertise and clear communication to practical development needs.
What you'll do
Partner with permitting and community-engagement teams to understand local: concerns and support project progress.
Support press and storytelling around community engagement projects in our: local data center communities in partnership with our Community Engagement Leads.
Help craft and scale our communication narrative around our operating: principals as we scale our infrastructure footprint.
Develop clear narratives and communications that explain projects, energy: needs and policy positions to relevant stakeholders.
Connect policy, communications and project teams so messages and actions reflect development needs.
Build alignment across teams, influence decisions and help resolve issues: that span policy, communications and development.
What they're looking for
- Think creatively about communications and the channels used, working with the: Public Affairs teams to deliver integrated execution of initiatives.
- Help shape energy policy approaches that support data center development and: translate policy considerations into practical recommendations.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to make: complex issues clear to different audiences.
- Practical experience crafting a positive narrative for the data center: industry, and a track record of influencing across teams and taking ownership in ambiguous situations.
