What you'll do
Develop and scale core payment features within the N26 iOS app using modern Swift.
Write clean, testable, and highly maintainable code , following modular: architecture principles and modern iOS design patterns.
Collaborate cross-functionally with Product Managers, Product Designers, and: Backend Engineers to take features from inception to production.
Drive engineering excellence across the mobile community through active code: reviews, tech talks, and contributions to shared core libraries.
Ensure app performance, security, and reliability , proactively identifying: and resolving bottlenecks in critical payment pathways.
Proven professional iOS development experience, ideally within: consumer-facing, security-sensitive applications at a fast-paced product company or fintech disruptor.
What they're looking for
- Formal background in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or equivalent practical, hands-on experience.
- Strong Swift & iOS SDK expertise , with a deep understanding of core concepts: like concurrency, memory management, and local data persistence.
- Architectural awareness: Experience working with modern architecture patterns (MVVM, VIPER, or Modular Architecture) in large-scale codebases.
- Quality-first mindset: Hands-on experience writing robust unit and integration tests for critical app workflows.
