What you'll do
Perform credit risk assessments for new and existing customers using: financial statements, credit bureau reports, trade references, and publicly available financial information
Recommend credit limits, payment terms, and risk mitigation strategies
Partner with Sales and Operations to enable customer onboarding with appropriate risk controls
Support execution of credit policies, approval frameworks, and onboarding standards
Manage credit monitoring for Canada, Celtic Intermodal, International, and: Canada portfolios, while supporting broader portfolio coverage as needed.
Monitor credit exposure, utilization, aging, payment performance, and credit alerts
What they're looking for
- Conduct periodic credit reviews and reassess customer risk profiles to identify emerging credit risk
- Identify high risk accounts and recommend mitigation actions, including limit: adjustments, term modifications, credit holds, and suspensions
- Manage over limit accounts, reactivation requests, and portfolio risk reporting
- Partner with Claims to assess high risk cargo claims exposure and payment risk
