What you'll do
Manage the day-to-day execution of shipments within a Transportation Management System (TMS)
Ensure all loads are planned, executed, and delivered on time
Monitor shipments and proactively resolve issues such as delays, errors, or carrier challenges
Communicate with shipping sites, carriers, and internal teams to provide updates and resolve issues
Manage a high volume of emails and system updates while prioritizing urgent requests
Troubleshoot shipment issues across multiple transportation modes, including: Truckload (TL), Less-Than-Truckload (LTL), rail, bulk, and specialized freight, escalating when needed
What they're looking for
- Support continuous improvement by identifying process gaps and recommending solutions
- Maintain accurate shipment, rate, and operational data within systems
- Assist with resolving billing or invoice discrepancies
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
