Maintenance Technician IActive$50K
The opportunity
Location: 5491 Timberlea Blvd.
What you'll do
Ensure all production and manufacturing equipment and automation meet safety,: food safety, and all other applicable regulatory standards.
Perform daily, weekly, and monthly preventive and/or predictive maintenance checklists.
Maintain, repair, and calibrate general building systems and equipment,: including racking, dock doors, waste management systems, conveyors, automation, case sealers, and material-handling equipment, using relevant job plans, procedures, and manuals.
Maintain and repair distribution center racking, walkies, power trucks, dock: doors, and perform general facility repairs to ensure a clean and efficient operation.
Perform basic electrical maintenance and repairs, including troubleshooting: motors, control panels, wiring, lighting, and low-voltage systems in accordance with electrical safety codes and lockout/tagout procedures.
Perform basic plumbing maintenance and repairs, including drains, water: lines, pumps, valves, and fixtures throughout the facility.
What they're looking for
- Diagnose equipment malfunctions and determine appropriate corrective actions,: escalating complex issues as needed.
- Manage maintenance tasks and work orders using computerized maintenance: management systems (CMMS) and Google Sheets.
- Update maintenance logs and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Perform regular facility inspections to ensure fire extinguishers, emergency: exits, emergency lighting, and other safety features meet or exceed regulatory requirements; perform repairs as required.
