What you'll do
Serve as the critical bridge between production operations and digital: manufacturing systems (PLM/ERP/MES), identifying and resolving software issues that impact production efficiency.
Monitor intake of reported software problems across multiple manufacturing platforms
Conduct root cause analysis by observing actual manufacturing processes and: how they interact with digital systems to identify disconnects between software functionality and production needs.
Evaluate urgency, impact, and scope of reported incidents based on real: manufacturing constraints and production schedules.
Escalate to engineering support when required and provide clear operational: context to software development about manufacturing realities.
Work directly with manufacturing engineers and technicians and regularly: visit the production floor to understand operational context.
What they're looking for
- Collaborate directly with software development teams, enterprise solution: architects, and manufacturing subject matter experts to drive comprehensive solutions.
- Propose new functionality or process improvements that would enhance the: operator experience, streamline production workflows, and reduce support needs.
- Proactively identify potential unreported problems by regularly observing: production processes and analyzing system data patterns.
- Create and maintain standard operating procedures for new feature workflows.
