What you'll do
Provide Tactical Site Oversight: Maintain a daily presence at local sites to ensure all security protocols are being followed and that the physical environment remains secure.
Manage Onsite Vendor Supervision: Provide direct, "on the ground" oversight of the contracted guard force, ensuring high performance, adherence to post orders, and immediate correction of service gaps.
Serve as the Local Stakeholder POC: Act as the primary security liaison for local tactical teams, including Fleet Operations, Facilities, and EHS, to resolve daily operational frictions.
Triage Local Issues & Communicate Trends: Act as a primary communicator to triage site security problems, identify operational efficiencies, and track security trends to keep both stakeholders and security leadership informed.
Monitor Compliance: Conduct frequent site security walks and inspections to verify compliance with Waymo’s site security requirements.
Support Process Execution: Implement and sustain localized security workflows that support high-volume vehicle movements without compromising safety.
What they're looking for
- + years of progressive security experience in a corporate or industrial environment
- Proven experience in a tactical leadership role (e.g., Shift Lead, Site Lead,: or Operations Coordinator) overseeing onsite security teams.
- Hands-on experience with incident response and emergency coordination in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a focus on problem-solving and customer service.
