What you'll do
Ocean Planning & Execution
Manage the full cycle of shipment planning and bookings: from forecasting, allocation control, to SO release.
Coordinate daily with Account Management, Procurement, Allocation & Yield,: and carrier offices to secure capacity and protect critical shipments.
Maintain accurate space visibility across Flexport systems (e.g., FFA,: Fulfillment Management Tool - FMT) and sailing schedules.
Drive optimal space utilization while ensuring compliance with carrier: allocation rules and performance metrics.
Carrier Performance & Exception Handling
What they're looking for
- Serve as the first point of escalation for booking exceptions, space shortfalls, and service disruptions.
- Leverage your relationships with carrier local offices to resolve issues: quickly — SO pushes, equipment release, or rollover prevention.
- Monitor carrier KPIs (on-time performance, equipment availability, service: quality) and flag trends to Procurement and Operations Excellence teams.
