The opportunity
This role is responsible for managing the distribution operations. Responsible for overseeing the efficient and accurate distribution of our products and managing the distribution shift; optimising processes, ensuring timely deliveries, and fostering a safe working environment.
What you'll do
Leading a team of Colleagues on the shift to ensure that the shift KPIs are met in full and on time.
Engaging and developing the team to achieve optimum performance and for the: Colleagues to meet their full potential.
Ensure adherence to quality standards and procedures in all distribution: activities, including proper handling, storage, and shipping of meal kits to maintain product integrity.
Continuously evaluate and enhance distribution processes to maximise: efficiency, minimise errors, and streamline operations. Identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions.
Ensure that all outgoing orders meet quality standards, performing regular: audits and inspections to minimise errors and product damage.
Role modelling the Company’s DNA and ensuring that these are followed by the team.
What they're looking for
- Dealing with day to day queries from Colleagues: liaising with HR, Training Teams as required.
- Maintain up to date and accurate records (including computerised/digital) on: production, food safety data and analyse this data to identify trends, problems and opportunities for improvement.
- Foster effective communication and collaboration with cross-functional teams: to ensure smooth coordination of operations and address any issues or concerns.
- Ensuring that Food Safety and Health & Safety standards are met and: sustainably maintained. You are required to cooperate with HelloFresh in all health and safety matters. You are responsible for ensuring your own health, safety and welfare in the activities you undertake. You must report incidents immediately and actively raise health and safety-related concerns to your Line Manager
