What you'll do
Work with vendors and the Procurement team to test and qualify packaging: designs to expand the Packaging supply chain to enable top-line box growth.
Coordinate testing with an external lab and our HF US lab.
Manage the planning and execution of packaging testing out of the Packaging: Laboratory (requiring 2 days a week working from the lab in Mississauga, ON)
Responsible for packaging lab upkeep and equipment calibration and maintenance
Oversee thermodynamic testing to validate and qualify cold chain packaging systems
Test packaging components and modify as necessary to meet functional: parameters, cost targets, fulfillment, and shipping requirements
What they're looking for
- Complete and communicate test reports to Packaging Procurement team, as well as cross functionally.
- Help provide packaging solutions to HelloFresh’s innovative launch of new: products, services offerings, and expansion into new categories and markets.
- Conduct technical and scientific tests to gain further insights into: packaging strategies, packaging material(s) comparison, and various other ad-hoc packaging research & development projects.
- Redevelop and maintain our ice matrix and upsizing logic
