The opportunity

Location: Savannah, GA Reports To: Terminal Manager Employment Type: Full-Time Compensation: $24–$26/hour (DOE) Schedule: Full-time shift available

What you'll do

  • Day Shift: 8:00AM to 5:00PM; we can modify as needed

  • Schedule and dispatch owner-operators, company drivers, and third-party: carriers hauling under Cargomatic’s SCAC code.

  • Plan and assign loads based on driver availability, equipment capacity, and operational priority.

  • Maintain consistent communication with drivers regarding assignments,: schedules, changes, and performance expectations.

  • Assess driver, tractor, chassis, and container capability for each requested haul.

  • Track and trace shipments, proactively identifying and resolving delays, exceptions, or operational issues.

What they're looking for

  • Manage empty container inventory, including returns and repositioning.
  • Enter, update, and close orders accurately and on time in Cargomatic’s proprietary TMS.
  • Validate Proof of Delivery (POD), interchange documents, and other required paperwork.
  • Identify and apply accessorial charges to ensure full revenue capture.
