What you'll do
Design and develop control architectures for high-power bidirectional AC-DC and DC-DC converter systems.
Evaluate and present various control system design approaches, including: their respective advantages and trade-offs.
Apply creative problem-solving to define comprehensive test scenarios with: well-defined success and failure benchmarks.
Develop automated HIL test procedures to improve testing efficiency and reduce turnaround time.
Collaborate with teams across firmware, hardware, systems, and regulatory: engineering to collect cross-functional requirements and integrate them into the control system's design, modeling, and testing processes.
Master's or PhD degree (preferred) in Electrical Engineering (POWER ELECTRONICS)
What they're looking for
- + years of proven experience developing Power Electronics products
- Experience with renewable energy integration using grid-tie inverter systems (solar, BESS, EVSE, etc.).
- + years of Python programming experience for scripting and automation
- Strong experience in designing controllers (such as PI, PR, droop, etc.),: modelling, and simulation using tools such as PLECS, MATLAB, as well as lab tests.
