What you'll do
Manage and execute the demand planning process for “Make” components, with: primary focus on Tool & Die and CNC Machine Shop part flow, while ensuring timely fulfillment of customer requirements for Tool Assembly
Monitor and track the bill of materials in MRP systems for the product scope to ensure on time assemblies
Execute purchasing transactions within scope by issuing purchase orders for: SpaceX tool and die programs and ensure on-time delivery
Maintain product master data and develop expertise in all material planning systems and reports
Develop and maintain good relationships with vendors and distributors to: ensure communication channels are active with real time delivery information and work in progress
Proactively update SpaceX management and engineering teams on all critical supply issues
What they're looking for
- Analyze available manufacturing data and develop metrics required to drive optimal results
- Work with manufacturing supervisors and managers to ensure all metrics driven: action requirements are completed
- Assist in the development of and maintain reports to highlight needs,: deliverables, and constraints as required for internal and customer use
- Communicate component, tool status and estimated completion dates to leadership weekly
