What you'll do
Daily Component Testing: Oversee and execute LVT&V component tests in internal and external laboratories using test plans provided by Lucid Engineering.
Bench and DUT Preparation: Set up test benches and fixtures, instrument devices under test, and execute controlled test procedures.
ECU Support: Provide practical engineering support for ECUs, including: laboratory equipment use, soldering, and cable assembly.
Failure Investigation: Debug failures and anomalies with engineers to identify causes and potential corrective actions.
Test Documentation: Maintain rigorous, detail-oriented test records and progress reports that make execution status and results clear.
Laboratory Management: Organize and maintain DVT laboratory space, equipment, and inventory to support safe, repeatable testing.
What they're looking for
- AA/AS degree and 5+ years of related experience.
- Detail-oriented execution of procedures with the ability to work independently under an engineer's direction.
- Experience with laboratory test equipment including environmental chambers,: power supplies, DAQ systems, and oscilloscopes.
- Soldering and cable assembly experience.
