What you'll do
The integrated master plan and integrated master schedule for module: production, horizontally and vertically integrated across engineering, material, manufacturing, and quality.
Critical path and network logic: find the conflicts, resolve them, and tell the program what just moved and why.
Shop load and dispatch: what gets worked today, against real material availability, qualified labor, and open nonconformances.
Schedule adherence and earned value: measure plan against actual, then feed the variance back into the plan.
Re-baselining when the program changes, with the risk analysis to support it.
What they're looking for
- Submarine or surface-ship construction: stage of construction, work control, outfitting, planning value stream.
- Critical chain / theory of constraints, buffer management.
- Earned value management.
- Experience standing up a new production line or factory from greenfield.
- Background in defense manufacturing (torpedoes, missiles, submarines, aircraft).
- Digital native: comfortable with modern tools, automation, and data-driven approaches.
- PMP, PMI-SP, or equivalent scheduling certification.
