What you'll do
Utilizes inspection equipment such as micrometers, calipers, and profilometers
Approves or rejects items and documents inspection results as required
Performs documentation review and verification of certifications,: specifications, and conformance to design and specification requirements
Communicates with internal customers and suppliers as required to resolve inspection discrepancies
Use an electronic ERP system to route parts and components to the proper departments
High school diploma or equivalency certificate
What they're looking for
- + years of experience in a receiving, inspection, or quality assurance role
- + years of receiving, precision, mechanical, or electronics inspection experience
- Experience in a high-volume manufacturing, aerospace, automotive, or commercial aircraft environment
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications
