What you'll do
Prepare journal entries, account reconciliations, and other core accounting: tasks in support of the team’s financial close and reporting processes as needed.
Assist in researching, establishing, and maintaining financial accounting: principles, practices, and procedures to ensure compliance with US GAAP
Support internal controls and audit readiness, including compliance: administration tasks, coordination and fulfillment of audit requests, testing, and documentation.
Design and document accounting processes and procedures, identifying: opportunities for automation and improvements as Branch continues to scale.
Own accounting projects and process gaps that fall outside standard: workflows, such as unresolved reconciling items, or undocumented and/or inefficient processes, seeing through from investigation to resolution.
Partner cross-functionally to design, build, and implement new systems,: processes, and solutions with impact across accounting, finance, treasury, data, and other teams.
What they're looking for
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required
- years of relevant accounting experience required; high-growth payment/fintech experience a plus
- years of financial audit and/or consulting experience preferred
- Working knowledge of US GAAP and technical accounting
