The opportunity
As a Senior Associate on this team, you will actively contribute to managing our relationship with carriers and play a key role in ensuring the accurate and efficient handling of our medical benefits. Your ability to communicate with the team proactively and to be solution-oriented will be invaluable in this role.
What you'll do
Perform day-to-day operations for all of our medical offerings
Work with insurance carriers to resolve escalated issues: enrollment errors, plan coding issues, and other discrepancies, escalating trends to the Team Lead
Collect plan and pricing data from carriers, and work within the carriers': systems to enroll groups and individuals timely
Consistent urgency, ownership, and proactive communication with partners and vendors
Partner with our Product, Engineering, and Legal teams to improve systems and resolve issues
Assist Team Lead with new-hire training and mentoring new members
What they're looking for
- Minimum of 3 years of work experience in a similar role
- Experience working in a fast-paced, data-driven environment
- Experience working cross-functionally
- Experience with partnership management
- Experience with Jira and Confluence or similar software
- Ability to work both independently and as a team
- Strong analytical, written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to learn new technologies quickly
