The opportunity
We’re seeking a Strategic Finance Senior Associate to join the Finance team at Chime. As a finance team member, you will have a key role in collaborating with the Strategic Finance team to shape our business and financial strategy, while completing numerous high-impact initiatives at the company.
What you'll do
Support the development of unit economic frameworks to evaluate the ROI of: various products, features, and business strategies and guide Chime’s decision-making
Evaluate economic viability and drive strategy for Chime’s new and emerging products
Build strong working relationships with cross-functional teams including: Product, Risk, Analytics, and Marketing to strategically advise on financial impact and improve business performance
Use tools such as Pigment to manage and own financial forecasts and advise: executive leadership on business unit and product performance on a regular basis
Contribute to board/investor materials, public facing materials &: disclosures, and other external reporting to advise investors and other key partners on overall company financial health and product positioning & performance
Guide and partner closely with our Analytics team to create dashboards and: KPIs to track product health, as well as evaluate experimental results
What they're looking for
- Champion the adoption of AI and automation across the forecast process,: compressing close-to-forecast turnaround, standardizing recurring reporting, and reducing manual effort in Pigment and Sheets
- Minimum 4-7 years of relevant experience in strategic finance, FP&A,: investment banking, consulting, or business intelligence; prior experience at a high-growth technology or financial technology company a plus
- Bachelor’s Degree, or equivalent degree in Business, Finance, Economics, Accounting or other relevant field
- Demonstrated experience building driver-based forecasts (e.g., volume × rate,: unit economics, cohort models) with a clear point of view on how you validate drivers and diagnose forecast vs. actual variance
