The opportunity
Fireworks AI is looking for a Senior Billing Operations Analyst to own the end-to-end onboarding, billing, accounts receivable, and collections experience for Enterprise Clients
What you'll do
Own the operational lifecycle for strategic and large contracted customers: from customer onboarding and order setup through billing, AR management, and collections.
Review approved commercial and contractual terms and translate them into: accurate billing configurations, schedules, and invoice requirements.
Execute and validate timely and accurate customer invoicing, including: complex or customized billing arrangements.
Own AR aging for your customer portfolio and proactively drive collections: and escalation of past-due balances.
Serve as the primary Finance Operations point of contact for billing: inquiries and disputes for strategic customers.
Investigate billing discrepancies, deductions, and disputes and coordinate: resolution across Sales, Customer Success, Deal Desk, and Revenue Accounting.
What they're looking for
- –8+ years of experience in Billing Operations, Accounts Receivable,: Order-to-Cash, Finance Operations, or a related function.
- Experience supporting complex contractual billing arrangements.
- Strong understanding of the end-to-end O2C lifecycle, including billing, AR,: collections, disputes, reconciliations, and close.
- Experience operating in a SOX-controlled environment and a strong understanding of segregation of duties.
- Strong analytical and reconciliation skills with exceptional attention to detail.
- Excellent customer-facing and cross-functional communication skills.
- Ability to interpret commercial terms and translate them into operational billing requirements.
- Experience working with ERP, billing, CRM, and collections systems.
