The opportunity

What you'll do
Design circuits and schematics for test automation platforms, including: FPGA-based data acquisition boards, MCU data interfaces, breakout boards, wiring harnesses, and peripheral modules.
Own full-cycle PCB design for test hardware: collecting requirements, capturing schematics, selecting components, supervising or completing layout, and driving designs through fabrication and assembly.
Architect and source circuit board test fixtures, integrating custom designs: with internally developed and off-the-shelf data acquisition equipment.
Bring up, debug, and characterize circuits across low-speed interfaces (I2C,: SPI, CAN) and high-speed signals (RF, memory, USB).
Apply DFT best practices to new products, to enable comprehensive tester design
Work with firmware engineers to enable board support packages for embedded: Linux and bring up MCU RTOS platforms.
What they're looking for
- Integrate designs into configuration management systems, using proper control and release processes.
- Continuously improve test automation methods, throughput, user interfaces, and data analytics.
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Electronics, Computer, Mechanical: Engineering, or related fields OR 10+ years of advanced knowledge acquired through work experience and/or intellectual instruction in lieu of degree
- + years of professional experience in electrical hardware design with: emphasis on products that have gone to manufacturing.
