Senior Hardware Reliability EngineerNew$187K
The opportunity
Anduril Industries is a defense technology company with a mission to transform U. S.
What you'll do
Performing Failure Modes Effects and Criticality Analyses (FMECA) and Fault: Detection/Fault Isolation (FDFI) analyses and collaborating cross-functionally to implement product improvements for reliability
Performing predictive reliability analyses to forecast probability of field: failures and MTTF/MTBF utilizing Anduril requirements, specifications and relevant industry standards (i.e. MIL-HDBK-217Plus).
Developing Maintainability prediction models using MIL-HDBK-472 and support: the development of Preventative Maintenance and Sparing Plans
Developing and communicating RAM (Reliability, Availability, Maintainability): reports internally and to external parties
Reviewing field failure data and performing Weibull analyses utilizing that: data to determine gap to initial model in order to further fine tune and adjust it for further predictions
Collaborate with HW teams and Failure Analysis (FA) labs to investigate the: root causes of time-based failures and guide design iterations
What they're looking for
- Track and model physical and functional degradation parameters (e.g.,: parameter drift, mechanical wear) over time to predict end-of-life thresholds before actual failures occur.
- Develop statistical models to project future warranty claims and field: failure rates, providing data-driven risk assessments across various teams
- + years experience in a hardware-focused Reliability Engineer role,: Design/Development Engineer role or Quality Engineering role, with a strong emphasis on life data analysis.
- Bachelor’s degree in Systems Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical: Engineering, Statistics, Materials Science, or a related technical field.
