The opportunity
We are seeking a Logistics Manager, APAC to build, lead and improve our regional logistics function within the APAC region (Japan, Taiwan, South Korea, Southeast Asia, etc. ).
What you'll do
Own and lead all logistics operations across the APAC region (Japan, Taiwan,: South Korea, Southeast Asia, etc.).
Serve as the primary point of contact for regional transportation and logistics strategy
Partner with global logistics leadership to align regional execution with enterprise strategy and objectives
Develop and execute carrier strategy across all required modes including over: the road (LTL, FTL, etc.) air, ocean, and parcel.
In partnership with global logistics leadership, source, negotiate, and: manage relationships with 3PLs, freight forwarders, and last-mile providers
Drive service level performance, cost optimization, and capacity planning
What they're looking for
- Experience in defense, aerospace, or high-technology manufacturing environments is a plus.
- Six Sigma certification or Lean training preferred.
- Experience working in a fast-paced, high-growth or ambiguous environment.
- Experience scaling logistics in early-stage or rapidly growing organizations.
- Excellent leadership, vendor management, and stakeholder communication skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
