The opportunity
MongoDB is looking for a Senior Manager, Procurement (Software) to support our growing company's needs. This role requires a strategic thinker, but also someone who is prepared to “roll up their sleeves.
What you'll do
Serve as the main point of contact for global Software contracts, leading: category strategic initiatives and managing a team of procurement analysts
Collaborate cross-functionally across the organization with stakeholders and: the global Legal team to ensure vendor compliance and requirements are met
Develop and execute a Software Category Management strategy and roadmap: aligned with company growth and technology goals
Own and manage a pipeline of software renewals, sourcing initiatives, and: supplier engagements, ensuring proper planning and execution across the organization
Build a deep understanding of software spend, market trends, licensing: models, and supplier landscapes to unlock cost savings and value optimization
Establish trusted partnerships with key stakeholders in Finance, Legal, IT,: Security, and business teams to guide procurement decision-making
