What you'll do

  • Build and manage the sponsorship revenue plan, pipeline, and forecast for: DASH, reporting progress against targets to Events and Marketing leadership while supporting sponsorship strategy and sales for global Datadog Summits.

  • Develop and evolve tiered sponsorship packages across branding, speaking: opportunities, booth space, digital assets, lead generation, and other offerings based on sponsor needs and event capacity.

  • Manage the full consultative sales cycle, including prospecting,: qualification, pitching, negotiation, closing, renewals, and expansion with new and existing sponsors, while maintaining accurate CRM and sales activity reporting.

  • Serve as the primary commercial relationship owner for sponsors from contract: through onsite delivery, orchestrating the end-to-end partner journey while Event Marketing and agency partners manage fulfillment.

  • Collaborate with Events, Marketing, Sales, Partner Marketing, Community, and: Finance on event inventory and logistics, sponsorship positioning, account strategy, invoicing, and revenue planning.

  • Represent DASH and the sponsorship program in sponsor meetings, at industry: events, and onsite at conferences while identifying opportunities to improve sponsorship products, pricing, and sales processes.

What they're looking for

  • You have 5+ years of experience in sponsorship, media, advertising, or B2B: partnership sales, ideally supporting technology events or conferences.
  • You have a demonstrated track record of owning and achieving significant: sponsorship or partnership revenue targets, ideally including portfolios of $2M+.
  • You have experience managing a consultative sales cycle from prospecting: through close with senior marketing, partnership, or business stakeholders.
  • You have experience developing and pricing sponsorship packages rather than: solely selling from an established rate card.
