What you'll do
Work with technicians and other engineers to build production line designs: that manufacture anything between a Group 1 UAVs to an XL-UAV with a focus on appropriate composite design and manufacturing methods in mind
Work cross functionally to facilitate a continuous improvements on a new production line.
Write manufacturing documentation, such as work instructions, MBOMs, quality: plans, inspection requirements, non-conformances, while also completing said work instructions, quality plans, and inspections alongside a team of technicians and inspectors
Work as a conduit between the engineering technical data packages and the: technicians to ensure composite hardware and tooling are manufactured as designed/analyzed
Solve manufacturing problems in schedule-driven environment under the: constraints of detailed specifications and requirements to achieve the needed quality
Develop novel manufacturing processes to lower risk as the product moves from: its prototype/LRIP phase into FRP
What they're looking for
- Work with the Program Managers to inform critical decision points to ensure on-time delivery
- Drive RCCAs alongside the quality team to eliminate production blockers and recurring issues
- Bachelor’s degree in an engineering or technology related field
- + years of experience in manufacturing engineering
