The opportunity

What you'll do
Serve as the primary, most senior technical advisor for your OEM's: engineering team, leading escalations on the most complex device-level issues.
Drive technical strategy for your OEM relationship: which issues to prioritize, which process gaps to close, and how automation and tooling should evolve.
Lead cross-functional alignment across Product, Engineering, Hardware: Integrity/Reliability, and Commercial on priorities for your OEM, especially when those priorities conflict.
Design and drive adoption of tooling, automation, and process improvements: that scale quality efforts across the relationship.
Partner together with Commercial to drive proactive improvements to the Adyen: payment experience on partner devices, not just reactive bug-fixing.
Mentor other Partner Solutions Engineers on debugging approach and partner: management, without formal management responsibility.
What they're looking for
- Help shape the broader and scalable operating model for Hardware Partner: Engineering as Adyen adds OEM relationships and device coverage.
- + years of experience in a technical solutions role, partner engineering, or: related fields, with proven experience in a customer-facing role (e.g., developer advocate, partner engineer, technical solutions engineer, or solutions architect).
- + years of hands-on embedded, firmware, or systems engineering experience,: with meaningful exposure to hardware, embedded, or device-level environments.
- Embedded Android experience in a point-of-sale context (e.g. point-of-sale: terminals, payment terminals, kiosks, unattended/vending machines, etc.) is a plus.
