What you'll do
Work within a Scrum team to create, document and support various infrastructure as code modules.
Create, document and support various tools and services used in order to: support continuous integration, continuous delivery and continuous deployment of highly available infrastructure in various environments.
Use your familiarity with DevOps methodologies and practices to foster a: culture of quality while facilitating developer velocity.
Create tools to help our developers move their infrastructure from a: monolithic repo to individual service repos for use with our IDP.
You believe internal tools deserve unit tests.
Lead by example with code standards and design; help implement these across the scrum team’s products.
What they're looking for
- Mentor and support developers within the organisation on using and extending: of IaC tooling and support systems using DevOps methodologies.
- Minimum 6+ years of software engineering experience, specialising in: DevOps/Infrastructure/Platform engineering
- Hands on experience with object orientated programming is a MUST for this role (Java or Kotlin ideally)
- You must have hands on experience with writing Terraform Providers
