The opportunity
We are a team of high-output generalists where ML and systems engineering converge to push autonomy performance forward. As a Senior Perception ML Data Infrastructure Engineer, you will own the critical bridge between our autonomous vehicle hardware, our human labeling operations, and our ML models.
What you'll do
Build high-performance C++ systems that render and manipulate massive: multi-modal sensor data (lidar, camera, radar) interactively. Think real-time 3D and dense point clouds.
Push the limits of 3D rendering and processing for high-density lidar inside interactive tooling.
Design the ingestion and pipelines that move sensor data from the vehicle to: the offboard tools engineers and labelers work in.
Build the validation layers that catch calibration errors,: timing/synchronization failures, and bad labels before they ever reach a model.
Own the visualization and annotation platform that powers our labeling and: ground-truth data engine, and define the clean API boundaries between it and the broader ML data and ground-truth systems.
Technical ownership of our ML data that labeling teams build on top of.
What they're looking for
- BS/MS in Computer Science , Software Engineering, Robotics, or a related quantitative field.
- Experience : 4+ years of industry software engineering experience.
- Language Fluency . Fluency in C++ and strong familiarity with Python are non-negotiable.
- Ambiguity Navigator: Proven ability to lead cross-functional technical projects, bring order to complex codebases, and drive them to completion in ambiguous settings.
