What you'll do
Design, build, and maintain production services and infrastructure supporting: key management, encryption, and decryption functions.
Help architect, launch, and scale Robinhood’s new in-house card-processing: environment to protect sensitive card, financial, and tax-related data.
Write clean, maintainable production code and build operational tooling: across software, infrastructure, and security controls.
Collaborate with internal engineering teams to support migrations, drive: adoption of shared cryptographic capabilities, and ensure safe system design.
Participate in a rotating on-call schedule to maintain high availability,: security, and operational reliability as processing volume grows.
Experience building, operating, or supporting production services, distributed systems, or infrastructure.
What they're looking for
- Proficiency writing production code in at least one modern programming: language (such as Python, Go, Java, C#, or C++) with a strong ability to reason about complex systems.
- Comfort working across multiple technical domains, including software: development, infrastructure, and operational reliability.
- Clear and concise communication skills, with a demonstrated ability to: explain technical decisions and proactively collaborate when facing challenges.
- Curiosity and willingness to learn security engineering principles and: participate in a light on-call rotation.
